Azerbaijan and Armenia have agreed on the border delimitation process. This was announced by James O'Brien, US Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs, answering questions at a hearing on "The Future of Europe" in the Subcommittee on Regional and Security Cooperation of the Senate Committee on Foreign Relations.

He noted that they have made it very clear that if there are any changes regarding the border, the agreed border shall apply unless the two sides have reached an agreement.

Negotiations are underway on a peace agreement, added O'Brien.
