YEREVAN. - The negligent attitude of the government to bills, which the government itself presents, is inadmissible, oppositional Heritage party MP Armen Martirosyan said at the Parliament. The MP was irritated by the absence of the Minister of Nature Protection Aram Harutyunyan during the bill discussion on Environmental control.
“The Minister is not even present during the discussion of such a bill. I do not understand the attitude. They overpass all reasonable and unreasonable limits. Thus, all respectable MPs and NON-respectable government, it is non-respectable as it is absent during the bill discussions presented by themselves. The attitude of the government towards environmental bills proves that the government does not need the Ministry of Nature Protection as a separate unit. Instead it is possible to have only environmental management of the Ministry of Economy. Anyway the Ministry of Nature Protection does not deal with the protection of nature but instead it deals with the development of economy,” Martirosyan stated.
