TBILISI. – Georgia tries to regulate the situation in the Upper Larse checkpoint on the border with Russia. Armenian trucks cannot pass the Russian-Georgian border because of heavy snow, Georgian Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Vera Kobalia said on Tuesday and stressed that it depends on the climate.

According to the Minister, there are about 200 trucks on the border. We do everything possible to settle it in the shortest time, Kobalia said, Novosty Georgia quotes.

Armenian News-NEWS.am earlier reported that Georgian authorities, without official statement, have partially prohibited the passage of certain vehicles coming from Russia since November 12. As a result, over 100 trucks appeared in traffic difficulty on Russian-Georgian border.
