Donald Trump, the US presidential candidate from the Republican Party, believes that businessman Elon Musk cannot work in his cabinet on a permanent basis if he wins the elections, but he can become his adviser on artificial intelligence (AI). The former president expressed this opinion on The Shawn Ryan Show podcast.

“He [Musk] wants to be involved now. Look, he's running big businesses and all that, so he can't really. I don't think he'd be [able to handle the work of the cabinet]. I'd put him in the cabinet, absolutely. But I don't know how he could do that with all the things he's got going," Trump said.

Musk, according to the presidential candidate, would like to participate in the work of the US government in one way or another and engage in cost optimization.

Trump noted that he has a great relationship with the businessman, and that he would like to see him as his adviser on various matters, particularly in the field of artificial intelligence.
