YEREVAN. - December 1st is the International day against AIDS. The Armenian Red Cross also pays its contribution in the prevention of HIV/AIDS. The Armenian Red Cross organizes several events in the framework of the HIV prevention project “Orientation Time”:

1. Information campaign in the big cities of the Republic’s 10 regions during which Red Cross volunteers will hand out fliers.

2. Sending SMSs about HIV/AIDS in co-operation with VivaCell-MTS.

3. On-line information posts in odnoklassniki.ru social website.

4. HIV/AIDS problem talks in the media.

5. March dedicated to the international day against aids. It will begin from Yerevan’s Minas Avetisyan 4th street at 12.30 p.m. and will end in front of the European Regional Academy.

6. Information campaign in Yerevan in the framework of which volunteers will hand out fliers on HIV/AIDS.

7. Brain Ring on HIV/AIDS for school children. It will take place in Yerevan’s Number 85 School.

8. Flesh mob in Northern Avenue at 6.30 p.m.
