YEREVAN. - In Armenian Shirak Region’s Azatan Community a new water reservoir was put to operation on Thursday to provide water service for several districts of the village.
“Several families of Azatan have not had drinking water for 23 years. €215,000 have been spent on constructing the reservoir, another €1,050,000 was spent in constructing the distribution network of the village. Still water loss in the village is great,” president of the Water management committee Gagik Khachatryan informed the reporter of Armenian News-NEWS.am.
In 2014 Shirak region will have 24 hour water supplement.
