Hraparak daily of the Republic of Armenia (RA) writes as follows, in particular: [PM] Nikol Pashinyan spoke yesterday about his readiness to sign the half-agreed text of the peace treaty [with Azerbaijan] in the near future.

"13 articles and the preamble of the draft [peace treaty] have been fully agreed, 3 more articles, which consist mainly of 2 sentences, 1 is agreed, the other is not agreed. We propose to take what has been agreed upon at this moment, sign [it], have a fundamental document, and then continue discussions on the remaining issues," he said yesterday.

At the end of August, this proposal of Yerevan was sent to Baku as the 10th edition of the draft treaty, but they [i.e. Azerbaijan] rejected the proposal from there, [saying] that about 80 percent of the draft is agreed, but this does not mean that it will be signed.

Yesterday, the CC [i.e. the ruling Civil Contract Party of Armenia] refused to give an assessment to this "beggar’s" demeanor of their leader. According to our information, in one of the last sessions of the CC, although they were not presented with the non-agreed provisions [of the draft peace treaty], the RA's readiness to sign [it] at any cost was presented exactly the opposite, that we have "put Azerbaijan against the wall," that we are not lowering ourselves with this, showing our weakness, but on the contrary: we are making Azerbaijan face the facts and tearing its mask of an aggressor.
