The Kremlin hopes for contacts between Russian President Vladimir Putin and his Turkish counterpart, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, at the BRICS summit in Kazan, Russia, Russian presidential spokesperson Dmitry Peskov said, RIA Novosti reports.
"We [i.e.] hope for contacts between the two presidents at the BRICS summit in Kazan; we hope that such an opportunity will be presented to the heads of our two states," Peskov said, when asked whether there will be a meeting between Putin and Erdogan before the end of the year.
