The number of casualties of Israeli airstrikes on settlements in southern Lebanon has increased from 492 to 558, and 1,835 people have been injured. Firass Abiad, Acting Minister of Public Health Lebanon, stated this at a press conference held in capital Beirut Tuesday.
"There are 50 children and 94 women among the casualties. Four ambulance workers were also killed; their cars were hit from the air," added Abiad. "In addition, a hospital in the city of Bint Jbeil was destroyed as a result of the Israeli bombardment."
