During his speech at the 79th session of the UN General Assembly in New York, Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze noted also the settlement of the Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict, NewsGeorgia reports.

According to Kobakhidze, in the era of unprecedented global problems and regional conflicts, the ruling Georgian Dream Party government works tirelessly to make every Georgian citizen proud of his country.

“We have made some tough choices, and were never afraid of the challenge. We never chose an easy path and we always prioritized our nation and our people. (…). Understanding the firsthand importance of peace, we have led the effort to transform our immediate South Caucasus region from a region of conflicts into a region of opportunities,” said Kobakhidze.
