Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant endorsed the IDF's “continued offensive activity” against Hezbollah in Lebanon, the Times of Israel reported, citing the agency.

Gallant met with IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Herzi Halevi, Major General Oded Basiuk, head of the Operations Directorate, and Major General Shlomi Binder, head of the Intelligence Directorate.

During the meeting, all four also observed an IDF airstrike on Beirut that targeted a high-ranking Hezbollah commander, the Israeli Defense Ministry added.
