The Armenian Patriarch of Constantinople, Archbishop Sahag II Mashalian, arrived at the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin Friday.
A private meeting between the Catholicos of All Armenians, Karekin II, and the Armenian Patriarch of Constantinople was held, the Mother See informs Armenian News-NEWS.am.
Archbishop Mashalian is in Armenia to take part in the ceremonies of the blessing of the Holy Myron on Saturday and the re-consecration of the Etchmiadzin Cathedral on Sunday.
