The opening ceremony of the 5th China Liaoning International Fair for Investment and Trade was held in Shenyang on September 26.
The Trade Fair, which has "the development of new quality productivity, open cooperation and promote revitalization" as its theme, will run until September 29. The Liaoning administration wants to completely portray Liaoning's new look.
"The three-year action plan for thorough revitalization is being implemented with great energy. Our primary objective is to establish ourselves as a significant source of technological innovation and a major strategic support area for the nation. For the first time in a decade, the economic output exceeded 30 trillion yuan in 2023, with growth rates surpassing the national average. Major economic indicators have been steadily improving since the commencement of this year. New business models are emerging, and new driving forces are accelerating the accumulation of new industries, which are developing swiftly. Liaoning is becoming a hub for innovation and entrepreneurship, a thriving area for commerce and investment. We sincerely look forward to all guests taking this Liaoning Fair as an opportunity to engage with Liaoning and invest in Liaoning, " in his keynote presentation, Li Lecheng, the governor of the Liaoning Provincial People's Government and deputy secretary of the CPC Liaoning Provincial Committee, addressed the attendees.
"Consumption" is the theme of this year's Trade Fair exhibition. The New World Expo Center in Shenyang, the capital of Liaoning, is the main venue for the expo. Participating in the expo are more than 900 domestic and international businesses, including those from Iran, Russia, France, Korea, Australia and other countries. For the first time, exhibits from Sri Lanka and the Middle East are set up during the show.
There are two zones and four pavilions in total, including Liaoning consumer pavilion, regional cooperation pavilion, international exchange pavilion, medical beauty boutique pavilion, investment Liaoning exhibition area and consumption Liaoning exhibition area.
In addition to the main exhibition, Liaoning will hold the Shenyang International Consumer Goods Fair in Shenyang, the Dalian Japanese Commodities Exhibition in Dalian and the Xiliu Import and Export Commodities Fair in Anshan. In order to encourage consumption, additional cities will host brand weeks, auto shows, retail festivals, and other vibrant business, cultural, sporting, and tourism events. This would turn the Liaoning International Trade Fair into a province-wide consumer event.
In an effort to promote more useful trade and economic cooperation outcomes, the exhibition will also provide matchmaking meetings for relevant enterprises from Liaoning, international sister cities, and partner regions.
