The delegation headed by Director General of the NATO International Military Staff, Janusz Adamczak, who has arrived in Armenia on a working visit, on Thursday held bilateral meetings with the First Deputy Minister of Defense and Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Armenia, Edward Asryan, as well as the Head of the General Department of Defense Policy and International Cooperation of the Ministry of Defense (MoD) of Armenia, Levon Avazyan.

During the meetings, a wide range of matters were discussed, particularly the current status of Armenia-NATO cooperation and potential avenues for its development, the MoD of Armenia informs Armenian News-NEWS.am. Also, the most pertinent domains for cooperation were identified.

In addition, the Armenian side presented the ongoing reforms within the Armenian Armed Forces.

Furthermore, regional security issues were addressed, and the parties exchanged views on international politico-military developments.
