The West is attempting to sow chaos in the South Caucasus, and the countries of the region must fight against these attempts, Russian foreign ministry (MFA) spokesperson Maria Zakharova told reporters, according to TASS.

"We see the greater desire of the countries of the collective West—directly of the NATO alliance—to catch fish in murky waters, and in the meantime to make that murky water even more murky. These attempts are not being undertaken for the first time. I believe that historically, other countries of the region are also well aware of this. Therefore, it is necessary to do everything so that this general instability, which is going on, is already visible in various parts of the world, due to the desire of the West to control the chaos, so that it does not move to our shared region as well," said Zakharova.

"This region has suffered a lot, it has gone through many conflicts and even bloody, cruel wars, which have left scars in the hearts of people of different nations. Therefore, whoever wants to come in peace, help, support, I believe we will all be happy. But whoever has a stone under his arm, or even a knife, stay away from here, from our region!" the Russian MFA spox continued. "Together, we have devoted so much energy to keeping the peace here that everything must be done to prevent the most ordinary machinators and manipulators, so to speak, from expanding their policy of manageable chaos because, by the way, in recent decades, that chaos it is unmanageable there.”
