Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan will give Albania a “significant” number of kamikaze drones of an unspecified type, the country's Prime Minister Edi Rama said on Thursday, Reuters reported.

“This is a gift that is a strong message from the Republic of Turkey that Albania is invincible,” Rama told a joint press conference during Erdogan's one-day visit.

A so-called kamikaze drone is a munition that flies toward its target and then drops rapidly and explodes on impact.

A government spokesman contacted by Reuters was unable to provide any further details on the number or type of drones.
