Nothing, except the lack of will by Azerbaijan, prevents the signing of the peace treaty. Hripsime Grigoryan, member of the ruling majority Civil Contract Faction of the National Assembly (NA) of Armenia, stated this during the briefings in the NA Friday.
According to Grigoryan, the position of Armenia has not changed in this regard, as it has announced its readiness to sign an agreement within the framework of points that are already agreed upon.
"Armenia is ready to sign the peace treaty with the agreed articles, which, in our assessment, conviction, fully answer the questions of what should be the fundamental principles by which [Armenian-Azerbaijani] relations should be normalized, also, provide an opportunity to create a climate of trust and move forward in the process," said the member of Armenia’s ruling majority parliamentary faction.
