The Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) has claimed responsibility for the terrorist attack in Ankara on Wednesday, the PKK noted in a statement, Sozcu television reports.

It was noted that the attack was carried out by the militants of the "Immortal Battalion," which is considered the military wing of the PKK, which is banned in Turkey and recognized as a terrorist organization.

It is assumed also that this terrorist attack was planned a long time ago and is not related to the internal political events of Turkey, in particular, the initiatives of the Turkish authorities to resolve the Kurdish issue.
