BAKU. - No one takes the possibility of Azerbaijan solving the Karabakh conflict by military ways for serious, as it will be a catastrophe for everyone, the expert of Carnegie Endowment for International Peace Thomas de Waal informed during the interview to the Azerbaijani radio station Azadliq.

De Waal also said that Azerbaijan might try to use its membership to UN Security Council, but the other members, USA, France, Russia, will put a veto if Azerbaijan tries to change something in the peaceful negotiations.
