YEREVAN. – The Armenian capital Yerevan is prepared for winter and heavy snowfall towards the New Year, Yerevan City Hall Information Department Chief Artur Gevorgyan stated at a press conference on Thursday.
“Rest assured that nothing bizarre [and] extraordinary will come about in connection with snow and precipitations. Rest assured that the entire city will be prepared. What is more, the roads will be clean, drivable, and no problem will arise,” he stated.
In Gevorgyan’s words, the Mayor has given strict instructions to the leaders of the administrative regions. “Irrespective of the time of the day, they must be prepared over the course of the entire day, 24 hours. Let us hope to God that snow comes, you will be convinced, and you will see yourselves that there will not be [any] problems,” Artur Gevorgyan added.
