At least 89 people could be missing as a result of floods in Spain's autonomous community of Valencia, the region's supreme court informed on X.

"The mixed offices of forensic experts and the security forces have counted about 89 missing people," the respective statement said.

On October 29, the State Meteorological Agency of Spain had issued a severe weather warning due to heavy rains in various regions of the country.

As a result off torrential rains in southern and eastern Spain, the severe weather warning level was raised to maximum.

This natural disaster hit Valencia the most, where floods occurred. At present, 211 casualties are reported there.

The search for the missing continues.
