YEREVAN. – Armenian PM Tigran Sargsyan received British Ambassador Charles Lonsdale, who is ending his  diplomatic mission in Armenia. 

“You have greatly contributed to the development and deepening of Armenian-British relations,” Sargsyan stated.    

In his turn, UK Ambassador noted that Armenia achieved a fairly great progress over this time. “I am convinced that I will see your country’s progress in the future, too. Great Britain is very much interested in developing relations with Armenia,” Ambassador Lonsdale said. He also informed that several British companies aim to make investments in Armenia.      

The interlocutors also reflected on Armenia-EU relations, the ongoing reforms in the country, and other matters.

PM Sargsyan wished the Ambassador success in his future activities, Government Press Service informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.
