The Israeli missile system on Sunday struck the alleged targets of the Hezbollah militia in northeastern Lebanon, killing at least 12 people and injuring dozens, reported the Elnashra news portal.
Information about the casualties was received from Bednail, Zegrin, Sarin, and Shaas settlements. Five more people were killed in El-Ghasr village, on the border with Syria. It is not yet known whether these casualties ware members of Hezbollah or civilians.
In the south, in Adlun, three paramedics of the Islamic rescue service were killed in an Israeli drone attack against an ambulance.
In the first half of the day, in northern Lebanon, Israeli planes carried out an airstrike against the Shiite village of Almat, where 23 people from Lebanese families who had fled there from Beqaa were killed. There are children and women among the casualties.
According to the Public Health Emergency Operation Centre of Lebanon, the number of casualties of Israeli airstrikes on November 9 was 53, and 99 people were injured.
Since the military escalation in October 2023, a total of 3,189 people have been killed and 14,078 others have been injured in Lebanon as a result of Israeli attacks.
