Irakli Kobakhidze has been nominated once again as the candidate for Prime Minister of Georgia.
Mamuka Mdinaradze, executive secretary of the ruling Georgian Dream party, announced the aforesaid at a briefing following the political board meeting of the party, informs the First Channel television of Georgia.
“As per our charter, the party’s Honorary Chairman has the authority to nominate the Prime Ministerial candidate. It may be no surprise that Bidzina Ivanishvili has nominated Irakli Kobakhidze for the position. He was, of course, fully supported by the political board,” Mdinaradze stated.
