The US and its European allies communicate with the nationalists of the CIS countries in order to implement the Ukrainian scenario in their territories. This was stated by Sergey Naryshkin, Director of the Foreign Intelligence Service of Russia, in his remarks at the 20th meeting—in Moscow—of the heads of security and intelligence agencies from Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) countries, TASS reports.
"Washington, London, Brussels are developing options for implementing the so-called ‘Ukrainian scenario’ with respect to the Commonwealth countries. I mean the incitement of narrow local nationalism and integration with the West under the pretext of strengthening national identity. Information is being received about the stable contacts of the American and European special services with the nationalist parties and movements in the territory of the CIS," said the director of the Foreign Intelligence Service of Russia.
To note, Armenia also is a member in the Commonwealth of Independent States.
