The Israel Defense Forces said it recently struck “20 Hezbollah targets” in the southern suburbs of Beirut within two minutes, the Times of Israel reported.
According to an Israeli army statement, eight fighter jets carried out a swift and extensive series of airstrikes. According to the IDF, seven of the buildings targeted were used by Hezbollah to manage and store funds, including the headquarters, storage facilities and branches of the al-Qard al-Hassan association, which is allegedly used by the Lebanese movement “as a quasi-bank.”
The other 13 sites claimed by the IDF included a Hezbollah air force center, an intelligence unit command post, weapons storage facilities, and other military infrastructure.
