Russia is taking creative measures in Transcaucasia; and mainly thanks to these efforts, Azerbaijan and Armenia are successfully moving towards the normalization of bilateral relations. This was stated by the Chief of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces, Valery Gerasimov, at a briefing of the military attachés of foreign countries, TASS reports.

"In contrast to the destructive actions of the West, Russia is taking creative measures in that region. Mainly thanks to the efforts of our state, the obvious positive progress towards the normalization of bilateral relations in Baku and Yerevan is evident," said Gerasimov.

According to him, the delimitation of one of the most complicated sections of the interstate border between the Kazakh region of Azerbaijan and Tavush Province of Armenia has been completed.
