YEREVAN.- Leaders of the Armenian women’s weightlifting team Meline Daluzyan and Hripsime Khurshudyan underwent surgeries in Moscow, said head of Weightlifting Federation Samvel Khachatryan.

They will return to Armenia on Friday and will start training from January 20, Khachatryan told journalists.

Armenian women’s weightlifting team earned two places at the London Olympics. Khachatryan said the leaders will not participate in the European Championships to get prepared for the Olympic Games.
