YEREVAN. – The matter of allocating, to the State Revenue Committee (SRC), a section of Armenia’s Dilijan National Park is removed from the agenda of the Government’s session on Thursday.

To note, there was a draft decision whereby 22.5 hectares from the Park was to be allocated to SRC, to hold seminars and trainings, and to organize recreation.

In an interview with Armenian News-NEWS.am, SRC Vice Chairman Armen Alaverdyan noted that SRC is building a construction, in Dilijan city, to convene seminars, and that the aforesaid section of Dilijan National Park is next to that construction. “Perhaps such decision was reached to better organize recreation, or because of security concerns, it is just a zone,” Alaverdyan added.
