WASHINGTON. - Avadis "Avie" Tevanian, one of the closest friends and business partners of Steve Jobs, stated that Apple’s former chief died as he postponed the cancer treatment.

Despite friends and wife asked that he make an operation, Jobs tried an alternative therapy with special diet, Tevanian said in the interview with the BBC.

“Steve was a non-traditional man. When he was to choose a treatment he was glad to choose the non-traditional methods. I believe that he was really sure he can cure himself by non-traditional treatment,” Tevanian said.

According to him, Jobs was a human, who could persuade that some things being impossible may become real. He made the impossible possible, Tevanian described Jobs.
