Secretary of the Security Council of Armenia, Armen Grigoryan, on Monday received a delegation led by Ara Shahverdian, the head of the Iran-Armenia Friendship Group of the Iranian parliament.
Grigoryan welcomed this delegation's visit to Armenia, and emphasized that Armenia-Iran bilateral relations have solid foundations and are anchored in natural interests, the Office of the Security Council of Armenia informs Armenian News-NEWS.am. Also, he highlighted the steps aimed at the continuous development of these bilateral relations. Shahverdian, in turn, noted that these relations have a trend to develop even more.
In addition, the interlocutors underscored the Armenian government’s Crossroads of Peace project from the point of view of establishing peace and security in the South Caucasus.
