The Japan Automobile Dealers Association (JADA) has publicized a ranking list of the top 10 popular new passenger cars on the country's market until the end of 2024, Drom.ru reports.

Accordingly, the most popular car in the Land of the Rising Sun is the Toyota Corolla, with sales up 7.8% from 2023.

The aforesaid ranking is as follows:

 1) Toyota Corolla — 166,956 units (+7.6% compared to 2023)

 2) Toyota Yaris — 166,162 (- 14.5%)

 3) Toyota Sienta — 111,090 (- 16.1%)

 4) Nissan Note — 101,766 (- 0.7%)

 5) Honda Freed — 85,368 (+10.1%)

 6) Toyota Prius — 83,485 (-15.8%)

 7) Nissan Serena — 80,899 (+6.9%)

 8) Toyota Alphard — 79,374 (+49.5%)

 9) Honda Vezel — 75,424 (+27.4%)

10) Toyota Voxy — 70,636 (- 20.7%)
