Eleven people were injured after a ship collided with a ferry on the Elbe River in Hamburg, Germany, Bild newspaper reports.

The incident occurred at 6:43am.

There were 25 people on the ferry.

One of the injured is in severe condition.

According to preliminary data, the ship broke away from the pier for still unknown reasons.
