Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan, Jeyhun Bayramov held a telephone conversation with David Lammy, Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs of the United Kingdom (UK), Azerbaijani media report, citing their foreign ministry.

Among other matters, they discussed the crash of an Azerbaijani plane near Aktau, Kazakhstan.

Earlier, the president of Azerbaijan had accused Russia of "silencing" the real reason for the crash of this Azerbaijani plane.

Lammy “expressed Britain's readiness to provide support in the investigation of the causes of the tragedy," added the Azerbaijani media.
