We must be able to establish diplomatic relations with Turkey. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated this during a panel discussion Thursday on the margins of the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland.

"We [i.e. Armenia] are working in this direction also. Usually people ask me whether I am optimistic or pessimistic on this matter. I will say that I am neither optimistic nor pessimistic. I am pragmatic. I simply understand that there is a need to work until the problem is resolved. The main and, I think, most important [thing] is not to deviate from the peace agenda, we must focus it on our goal and continue to work without giving up, without getting disappointed. In this case, we must have the support of the international community, and I hope that this support will be provided," added the Armenian PM.
