Recently, a delegation led by the head of the Military Medical Department of the Armenian Ministry of Defense (MoD), Gegham Pashikyan, visited the US military base in Hohenfels, Germany where the Exercise Combined Resolve 25-01 is being held, Armenian News-NEWS.am was informed by the MoD of Armenia.

In addition to the field hospital of the Armenian MoD Military Medical Support Department, this year for the first time a unit consisting of personnel from the special battalion of the Armenian MoD Military Police is also participating in this exercise, during which this unit carries out the protection of special important facilities, the detection and destruction of sabotage reconnaissance groups, as well as other functions arising from the exercise scenario.

The aforesaid delegation got familiarized with the conditions of deployment of these personnel and observed the course of the exercise.

Deputy Chief of the Military Police of Armenia, Artur Umrshatyan, toured the areas where this Military Police unit is serving.

And during the concluding discussions held, the leadership of the aforesaid exercise and US colleagues lauded the level of readiness and interaction of the Armenian MoD units.
