The OSCE Minsk Group format must be maintained. This was stated by the second President of Armenia, Robert Kocharyan, during his press conference Monday.

According to him, in an actively changing world, no one can say for sure what will happen, and only the approximate direction is more or less clear .

"Taking steps during this time that will irreversibly change the negotiation process is stupidity. The [OSCE] Minsk Group format must be maintained at all costs," said the second president of Armenia.

The OSCE Minsk Group was created in 1992 by the Conference on Security and Cooperation in Europe (CSCE), now Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE), to encourage a peaceful, negotiated resolution to the conflict between Azerbaijan and Armenia over Nagorno-Karabakh.
