At least 31 dead after bus falls 800 meters in Bolivia

At least 31 people have died in Bolivia after a bus fell 800 meters in the Potosi department, the La Razon newspaper reports.

"According to preliminary data, 31 people have died. Not all the bodies have been recovered yet, work is ongoing, an investigation is underway," said Limbert Choque, spokesman for the departmental police command in Potosi.

Also, 15 people with injuries of varying severity were taken to hospital.

The reasons for this bus—which was traveling from Potosi city to Oruro city—falling into a ravine have not yet been determined.
