The talks between the Russian and US delegations in the Saudi capital Riyadh went very well and were a big step. This was stated on Wednesday by US President Donald Trump, speaking at an investment forum in Miami—and organized by Saudi Arabia.

Trump noted that the Russian and US delegations began talks in Saudi Arabia this week to resolve the Ukrainian conflict.

Also, the US president thanked Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud for hosting these historic talks, which, according to him, went very well.

"It's a big step. We got to get that war over with," Trump added.
