On the initiative of the Prosecutor General's Office of Russia, Dmitry Koshelev was deported from the United States. This was reported in the supervisory Agency, writes “Kommersant.”

At home, he is charged under paragraphs “a”, “b” part 4 of article 162 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“Robbery”).

According to the investigation, on July 15, 2014, while in the passenger terminal of Pulkovo airport in St. Petersburg, Dmitry Koshelev and his accomplices attacked people sitting in a car with weapons and stole property and money in the amount of more than $1.5 million.

The defendant evaded prosecution and, in April 2020, was put on an international wanted list.

In May 2021, information was received about the establishment of Dmitry Koshelev's location on the territory of the United States in connection with his possible violation of the country's immigration laws. “Thanks to the cooperation of the Prosecutor General's Office of Russia with the competent authorities of the CIF, taking into account the materials provided by the Russian side, it was possible to achieve a decision on his deportation”, - also reported in the supervisory agency.
