ANKARA. – Turkish PM Recep Tayyip Erdogan declared about the measures to be applied against France after the French Parliament has adopted the draft bill on penalizing denial of the Armenian genocide.

Erdogan mentioned 8 measures to be applied against France, Turkish Milliyet reports.

1. Turkish Ambassador to France is called back to Ankara.

2. Personnel exchanges in political, military, economic and education spheres, and joint activities are cancelled.

3. Military trainings are cancelled.

4. Any political relation is stopped with France.

5. French military aircrafts will have to get permission separately and each time, when using Turkish air space.

6. Turkey will refuse to cooperate with France in projects run with the EU.

7. French ships will not be allowed casting anchor in Turkish ports.

8. Turkey will not participate in the French-Turkish economic forum to be held in France next year.

The French Parliament adopted at the Thursday’s session the draft bill penalizing denial of the Armenian Genocide. The law, in case denying the genocide, intends a one year of imprisonment and a fine amounting to €45,000. The bill was included in the agenda of the committee on legal issues at the French Parliament on December 7.
