The U.S. Ambassador in Azerbaijan Matthew Bryza hopes that the Senate will confirm his appointment to lead the U.S. Embassy in Baku, Azerbaijan, day.az informs.
“It is difficult for people in America to understand the local situation. I hope that those people who are against my appointment will analyze the situation and make an objective decision,” Bryza told reporters on Thursday.
According to the Ambassador as the OSCE Minsk group co-chair he never made any biased decisions and so he doesn’t understand why Armenians are against his appointment as Ambassador in Baku.
The Armenian Lobby in the USA is against Bryza’s appointment.
