YEREVAN. - Armenia must clarify its relations with Iran, irrespective of whether it is today’s authorities, or there would be a power change there tomorrow, Karabakh’s former FM Arman Melikyan stated, during a press conference on Friday, reflecting on Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad’s current visit to Armenia.
“We need to develop our relations with our neighboring people. [And] It is their domestic matter as to the type of authorities they select,” Melikyan maintained, and added: “We are obligated to secure good neighborly relations on the people’s level, which will have its clear form and direction on official levels.”
