During 2024, we continued our dialogue with the Russian Federation at the highest and high levels, two meetings, two phone conversations were held between Prime Minister Pashinyan and President Putin. This was stated by foreign minister Ararat Mirzoyan in the National Assembly of Armenia Friday—and during the debates on the implementation of the government's 2024 program.

"Work was carried out separately, including to avoid unilateral comments on regional issues," Mirzoyan added, in particular.

And regarding Armenia-US relations, the Armenian FM said: "There were many interesting developments with the United States that year. To be brief, I must recall the concluding session of the Armenia-US strategic dialogue held in Yerevan, which was followed by the signing of a document on strategic partnership between Armenia and the US in Washington already at the beginning of this year, which certainly marked an increase in the level of [Armenia-US] relations.

It was said that this partnership was established and agreed upon with the previous American administration and will not continue with the new [US] administration. Of course, this is not the case, and representatives of the new [US] administration have already been engaged in the [respective] work in the transition phase. Now you can state that our active work with the new US administration, President Trump, and representatives of his team continues.

We recall the [Armenian] prime minister's meeting with [US] Vice President Vance. There is work with other representatives of the [new US administration] team, there will be some news in the near future also—by the way, in the direction of implementing some of the things envisaged by the same strategic partnership document."
