Zelensky reported successful combat use of new Ukrainian missile “Long Neptune”

The "Long Neptune" missile has been tested and successfully used in combat. This is a secret project that Ukraine has been working on for several years, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said in his Telegram channel, RBC-Ukraine reports.

“'Long Neptune' has passed tests and successful combat use. A new Ukrainian missile, an accurate strike. The distance is a thousand kilometers,” he said.

The President of Ukraine thanked Ukrainian developers, manufacturers and military.

“We continue to work for the sake of ensuring Ukrainian security,” he noted.

The new Ukrainian missile became known in December 2023. At the same time, work continued on the modernization of anti-aircraft missile systems Buk and S-300.
