The Arab League has welcomed the announcement of the conclusion of negotiations on a peace agreement between Armenia and Azerbaijan, calling it a necessary and important step towards ending the conflict between the two countries and establishing lasting peace in the Caucasus region.

The secretary general of the Arab League confirmed his full support for this agreement, which will lay the foundation for the peaceful settlement and resolution of disputes.

The representative of the General Secretariat of the Arab League expressed hope that a final comprehensive peace agreement will be signed soon, which will resolve all outstanding issues between the two parties, and added that diplomatic dialogue remains the only viable means of resolving protracted conflicts.
