Anders Fogh Rasmussen has no information that Azerbaijan is preparing for military action against Armenia. The founding president of Rasmussen Global international political consultancy organization and former NATO Secretary General told about this to a press conference in Ijevan, Armenia on Thursday

Rasmussen added that he believes that not carrying out a military action is in Azerbaijan's interests also, as it will improve the country's opportunities to deepen its ties with the international community.

The NATO former Secretary General, however, expressed concern about Azerbaijan's rhetoric. According to him, all the problems that Baku spoke about in relation to Armenia have been resolved. Therefore, Azerbaijan should immediately sign the peace treaty with Armenia, added Rasmussen.

Azerbaijan has been disseminating disinformation for several days now that Armenia is allegedly shelling its positions, but it is not providing any evidence to that effect. Also, Azerbaijan is blocking the signing of the already-agreed-upon peace treaty with Armenia.
