The Armenian prisoners in Azerbaijan must be returned immediately. Anders Fogh Rasmussen, founding president of Rasmussen Global international political consultancy organization and former NATO Secretary General, told this to a press conference in Ijevan, Armenia on Thursday.

Rasmussen explained the aforementioned by the fact that the signing of the peace treaty between Armenia and Azerbaijan will mean that all matters raised during the respective negotiations have been resolved.

Also, the NATO ex-Secretary General expressed regret over Azerbaijan's attack on Nagorno-Karabakh.

But Rasmussen added that the focus of his attention is the fact that Armenia and Azerbaijan have reached an agreement on the text of the peace treaty, and this should be used as a platform to move forward.
