Later today, trucks loaded with medical supplies and food will cross Margara bridge ahead to Syria to deliver humanitarian aid sent by the Armenian government. Armenian deputy foreign minister Vahan Kostanyan wrote this on X, Friday morning.
“I would like to appreciate also cooperative approach of Turkish colleagues regarding this humanitarian mission,” Kostanyan added.
To note, Armenia's Margara checkpoint on the Turkish border opened for ten days on Friday to send humanitarian aid to Syria via Turkey.
