The captain of the Air Astana Airbus A321, flying Tbilisi-Almaty, requested an emergency landing at Baku airport. The reason was a sharp deterioration in the health of one of the passengers on board.

APA reports with reference to the press service of AZAL, after landing the passenger was immediately provided with medical assistance, after which he was handed over to an ambulance crew and taken to one of the city hospitals for further examination.

At the same time, the departure of the flight to its destination was delayed by the decision of Air Astana. The rest of the passengers were accommodated in the hotel.
